DIG INN Restaurant Teams is hiring for a Chef-in-Training in Philadelphia. The role offers $16–$18 per hour plus $2–$3 per hour in tips and additional benefits, with a pathway to learn culinary skills and lead with enthusiasm in our scratch-based kitchen.

You will rotate through kitchen stations, work as part of a team, and contribute to a mission to rebuild the food system while gaining hands-on experience and growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No formal requirements listed; emphasis on willingness to learn and passion for food.

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains using recipes as a guide and taste buds for validation.
• Gain exposure to different kitchen stations including garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and delivery/packout.
• Speak to guests about menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to provide a scratch-made meal.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever needed.
• Maintain food safety standards and DIG policies; uphold professional standards.
