Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Line Cook to support multi-functional food prep in our senior living community kitchen. You will follow company recipes to ensure high-quality meals for residents and guests, while demonstrating reliability, empathy, and hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork and delivering outstanding dining experiences for seniors, with opportunities for growth and a commitment to excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in a high volume setting.
• Basic culinary skills: knife handling, measurements and cooking methods.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
• Background checks and screenings may be required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals from scratch according to recipe specs and quality standards.
• Follow recipes, manage portions and ensure attractive plate presentation.
• Manage cook times while handling several orders simultaneously.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Follow checklists to keep kitchen stocked and well maintained.
• Prioritize hospitality, customer service and resident satisfaction in every interaction.
