Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Line Cook for our fast-paced, resident-focused kitchen in San Diego. You will prepare meals from scratch, follow recipes, and ensure attractive plating while handling multiple orders with care.

Reliability, teamwork, and pride in your craft are essential. This role requires early shifts, weekend work, and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality for our residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in a high volume restaurant.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals from scratch according to assigned recipe specifications and quality standards.
• Follow recipes, manage portion control and ensure attractive plate presentation.
• Properly manage cook times while preparing and efficiently managing several orders simultaneously.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen ensuring compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
• Follow checklists and company procedures to ensure kitchen is stocked and well maintained at all times.
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.
