Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort is seeking a punctual, fast-paced professional to join Slopeside Pub & Grill. You will prepare and portion food before cooking, garnish dishes, and ensure quality standards.

The role requires independence, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude. English communication is essential, and basic knife skills are expected. Minimum age 16 applies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and stay organized.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Team player with solid work ethic.
• Clear English communication both written and spoken.
• Basic knife skills and ability to work at least one station.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items for cooking on broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other equipment.
• Demonstrate proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Follow recipe specifications, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies.
• Maintain sanitary practices and keep a clean workstation and equipment.
• Stock and rotate products at line stations to ensure smooth service.
• Take responsibility for quality of all foods served; perform other duties as assigned.
