Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort seeks a seasoned F&B leader to oversee Slopeside Pub & Grill. You will recruit, train, and manage staff, ensuring top-tier guest experiences and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities include daily operations, inventory control, cost management, and collaboration with culinary teams to craft seasonal menus. Evening and weekend availability is required during peak seasons. Opportunity to grow within a prominent mountain resort.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the food & beverage industry.
• 5 years of food & beverage manager or supervisor experience preferred.
• Active Safe Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the season.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
• Oversee daily operations of Slopeside Pub and Grill, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to optimize profitability.
• Lead and motivate restaurant staff, providing training and feedback for exceptional guest experiences.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address issues to uphold the resort's service standards.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to develop seasonal menus and maintain high food quality.
• Ensure inventory and equipment are accounted for and secure when not in use.
• Attend staff meetings as required.
