Job summary

TGI Fridays in Orlando is seeking a Cook to prepare a wide variety of foods according to recipe requirements and plate presentation while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will ensure 100% recipe adherence, manage station prep, maintain cleanliness, and communicate with service staff to keep orders moving efficiently in a fast-paced dining room.

Experience in a high-volume setting, ability to read guest orders, and stamina to stand and lift are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Must produce items exactly according to recipe to ensure guest satisfaction and control food costs
• Must follow food handling and sanitation procedures
• Must read Guest orders
• Must hear kitchen staff and Managers in loud environments
• Must stand, move and walk for entire shift
• Must bend and stoop frequently
• Must lift and carry sacks/cases up to 70 lbs up to 20 times per shift
• Must work in hot and damp environments; occasionally in extreme cold

Responsibilities

• Ensures all prepared food meets TGI Fridays' standards and recipe adherence
• Adheres to food safety rules, laws, protocols and standards
• Places expo-ready food in the window following zoning standards
• Keeps kitchen clean and rotates stock
• Maintains proper rotation and labeling of products
• Communicates ticket times and issues with service staff and Managers
• Performs prep and setup of station and cleans station daily
• Supports line checks and ensures products meet sensitivity guidelines and food safety standards
• Operates and maintains equipment properly
• Replenishes products and ensures par levels are met
