Job summary

TGI Fridays in Chicago, IL is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare a wide variety of foods according to recipe requirements and maintain high standards of presentation, safety, and quality.

In a fast-paced environment you will stock and rotate station items, ensure 100% recipe adherence, communicate with service staff and managers, and keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the shift, contributing to a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must follow safety and sanitation procedures to protect guests.
• Must read guest orders accurately.
• Must stand and move for entire shift.
• Must lift up to 70 lbs. and work in hot/damp conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all prepared food meets recipe adherence and presentation standards.
• Complies with food safety rules, laws, protocols, and standards.
• Prepares and plates dishes, stocks and rotates station items.
• Keeps kitchen clean and organized; communicates with staff and managers.
• Maintains proper rotation of products and labels items appropriately.
• Breaks down and cleans station at end of shift.
