Job summary

Lake Bowl Inc. is seeking a dedicated kitchen teammate to prepare menu items using grills, ovens, and fryers. You’ll perform prep work, stock lines, and ensure all dishes meet quality expectations for customers and the team.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down food lines, washing and sanitizing wares, following recipes, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work area. Knowledge of safety and fast pace preferred.

Qualifications

• Stands, moves and walks 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and stooping.
• Works in hot and damp environments.
• Must be able to read menu orders.
• Must hear verbal requests amid loud background noise.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly.
• Must maintain a valid Washington State Food Service Workers Permit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items using grills, ovens, deep fryers, and other equipment.
• Set up, maintain, or break down food lines; stock and restock as needed.
• Follow written recipes and procedures for prep work and cooking.
• Wash, sanitize and store dishes and utensils; keep surfaces cleaned and waste disposed correctly.
• Verify freight deliveries and store promptly in appropriate locations.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions.
