Job summary

108 Taphouse & Burger Bar is seeking an experienced Line Cook to set up and stock the kitchen, prep ingredients, and cook according to recipes. The Line Cook works with the kitchen team to ensure dishes are prepared to standard and served in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Check quality of ingredients.
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.).
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers.
• Ensure food is fully cooked before plating and serving to guests.
• Create a great culinary presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Perform inventory checks, complete food storage logs, and communicate any shortages to supervisor.
