Local Favorite Restaurants is seeking a kitchen team member to cook and assemble dishes per brand standards. You will work on broilers, ovens, grills, and other equipment, ensuring quality and timely service.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and a willingness to assist with prep and closing duties. Certification as a Food Handler and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a certified Food Handler in respective state.
• Must be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments for long periods.
• Must be able to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Must be able to lift bags, cases, up to 40 pounds, many times per shift.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and work cooperatively with team members.

Aufgaben

• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items according to brand recipe standards.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
• Portion food according to standard sizes and recipes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and equipment.
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Handle, store, label, and rotate products properly.
• Assist in food prep during off-peak periods as needed.
• Close the kitchen properly and follow closing checklists.
• Maintain a safe working environment per safety laws and company policies.
• Understand safe food and equipment handling and BOH standards.
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
• Ensure all dishes and equipment are clean and organized.
• Be a team player and contribute to cleanliness and upkeep.
• Complete setups, side work, and closing duties as assigned.
