Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and avoid over-preparation.
• Date and rotate perishables, keep proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use and arrange preparation and line setup.
• Return unused items to storage with covering and dating.
• Assist in controlling food costs and reducing waste per standards.
• Operate and clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, mixer, and other equipment.
• Attend regularly and be available to work as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
