Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts in Atlanta is seeking a motivated Line Cook to join the hotel kitchen team. You will prepare and portion dishes, set up hot stations, and coordinate timing with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

Responsibilities include food safety, quality checks, and supporting menu knowledge updates within a fast-paced hotel environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• One or more years of previous experience as a line cook or similar culinary role is preferred.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
• Ability to work well under pressure and timing requirements.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation: prepare and portion for various dishes, following recipes and guidelines.
• Cooking: grill a diverse range of menu items with precision and attention to detail.
• Station setup: set up and organize the cooking station with necessary tools, equipment, and ingredients.
• Timing coordination: coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure components are ready at the same time.
• Quality control: inspect ingredients and finished dishes for quality, taste, and appearance.
• Food safety compliance: follow sanitation practices to prevent cross-contamination and hazards.
