DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago O'Hare – Rosemont is seeking a dependable PM Line Cook to join our culinary team at BC Bistro & Lounge. You’ll craft high-quality dinners, set up stations, and maintain sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has line cook experience, knowledge of basic cooking techniques, flexibility for evenings and weekends, and a Food Handler Certification.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Set up and stock assigned workstations before each shift.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and proper portion control throughout service.
• Ensure food is prepared safely and served in a timely manner during peak business periods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control procedures.
• Properly label, rotate, and store food using FIFO practices.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking inventory, and minimizing food waste.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service.
• Support banquet and special event food preparation as business needs require.
• Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.

The PM Line Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality menu items while maintaining Hilton standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety. This position plays an important role in delivering an outstanding dining experience for hotel guests and local patrons during evening dinner service.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
