Torchy’s Line Cook – Fry, Grill, Saute, Steam, Taco in Austin requires cooks who can manage multiple stations and deliver Damn Good tacos from scratch. You’ll prepare ingredients, maintain quality, and work with a team to keep service fast and organized.

Qualifications

• Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred; open to varied schedules based on restaurant needs.
• Must be able to stand for several hours and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep at fry, grill, sauté and steam stations according to Torchy’s recipes and standards.
• Monitor quality and presentation of each dish before serving.
• Maintain a clean, organized work station and adhere to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with BOH teammates to ensure timely, accurate food preparation.
• Assist with stocking ingredients and kitchen organization for service.
