Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos in Amarillo is seeking a Line Cook – Fry, Grill, Sauté, Steam, Taco. You will master fry/grill/sauté/steam stations and assemble tacos to our Damn Good standards, building flavorful dishes in a fast-paced setting.

This role emphasizes prep, quality control, cleanliness, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Food Handler certification is required by day one; prior kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet state and local Food Handler certification by first day
• Previous kitchen experience preferred
• Able to stand for several hours and lift up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

• Cook on grill, fryer, sauté, steam to Torchy’s standards
• Monitor dish quality and presentation
• Maintain clean, organized station and food safety
• Collaborate with BOH to ensure timely prep
• Assist with inventory and ingredient organization
• Work with urgency during busy periods while upholding quality
