Job summary

Summit Hospitality Incorporated is seeking a line cook to prepare made-to-order dishes, prep for their station, and keep a clean, organized workspace. You will also consider food allergies and assist with side-work during downtime.

The role requires following recipes, maintaining food safety standards, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. On-site kitchen with standard restaurant hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English and understand recipes and written instructions.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (we can help with this).
• Must have or get non-slip shoes and wear at all times while on shift.
• Must be clean shaven or wear beard net.
• Must have working understanding of food safety metrics- IE: temperature danger zone.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must inform us of any felony convictions within past 5 years- a yes does not necessarily disqualify candidates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare made-to-order food and prep for the station.
• Set up and clean up their station; assist with side-work during downtime.
• Be mindful of food allergies and follow recipes and instructions.
