Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks a culinary professional to join our Inn at Perry Cabin kitchen team. You will contribute to menu development, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation in a fast-paced resort setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with leadership, learning new techniques, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests at a Forbes 4-star resort on the Eastern Shore.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous experience in a professional kitchen or pursuing culinary education.
• Active Food Handler certification or ability to obtain one.
• Willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Desire to exceed expectations.
• Energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté, fry).
• Experience using knives and kitchen equipment.
• Read and recreate recipes to maintain standards.
• Maintain consistency in all food preparation.
• Minimize food waste through cross-utilization.
• Collaborate with a world-class culinary team.
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chop, peel, cut).
• Keep an orderly and sanitized kitchen environment.
• Store all food items properly and ensure ingredient quality.
