Job summary

The Watermark Hotel is seeking a dedicated line cook to prepare and cook food items to our high quality standards. You will support other cooks and ensure compliance with health regulations while contributing to guest satisfaction and positive team dynamics.

Responsibilities include daily line checks, quality audits, cost control, and accurate presentation for all outlets and banquet events. Extended hours and physical work are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College and/or culinary degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ years of progressive cook or kitchen experience required.
• Must be detail oriented and able to communicate with all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Food quality and production to high standards, including line checks and audits.
• Ensure quality and timely presentation for banquet events and all outlets.
• Follow procurement guidelines to control costs and maximize revenue.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining food and beverage standards.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness per regulations and SOPs.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with kitchen staff.
