Job summary

Inn at Bay Harbor, a Boyne Resorts property on the shore of Lake Michigan, seeks a line cook to join its resort kitchen team. You will prepare and plate items, assist other cooks, and ensure a smooth service by maintaining station readiness and proper food handling.

The role requires the ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays, stand for long periods, and lift up to 25 pounds. Health/Dental/Vision and PTO are part of the benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food, assist kitchen staff and set up stations as directed by Chef.
• Prepare food according to guidelines and procedures.
• Measure and mix ingredients as per recipe or prep records.
• Stock and maintain adequate food levels at line stations.
• Coordinate production with kitchen, wait staff and beverage team.
• Familiarize with all kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness.
