Job summary

Marquette Mountain is seeking a part-time Line Cook to join our seasonal kitchen team. You will prepare foods to the chef’s specifications and help set up stations for the menu, contributing to guest satisfaction and repeat visits.

The role requires proficiency in various cooking methods, strong teamwork, and flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced resort environment on site in Marquette, Michigan.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
• Experience as Line Cook/Prep Cook preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock food items and supplies.
• Prepare items by cutting, chopping, and making sauces.
• Cook items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods to required recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to sanitation requirements.
• Assist chefs with daily tasks and prep.
• Perform inventory checks and logs.
