Job summary

Foodland Kahala Market is seeking skilled line cooks to join our culinary team in Hawaiʻi. Candidates should be energetic, creative, and able to prepare high-quality foods that reflect Hawaiʻi’s diverse food culture while maintaining safety and consistency.

Both full-time (40 hours) and part-time (24+ hours) positions are available. Benefits include medical/dental/drug/vision insurance and retirement plans. Relocation is not provided, and on-island candidates will be prioritized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knife skills and basic cooking techniques required.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation methods, and safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• preparing ingredients and/or cooking menu items from prepped ingredients.
• consistent execution of standardized recipes.
• observe and enforce company standard operating procedures.
• ensuring all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• supporting prep duties as necessary.
