The Woodlands Resort, Curio Collection, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a dedicated line cook to prepare food of consistent quality and assist in kitchen operations. This role supports hospitality in a resort setting near Houston, focusing on teamwork and food safety.

You will follow recipe cards, manage production, rotate perishables, and help maintain equipment; prior hotel or large-restaurant experience is preferred; strong communication is essential.

Competenze

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and production standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and manage portion control.
• Rotate perishables and keep temperatures within safe ranges.
• Check pars, plan prep, and assist in stocking buffet.
• Return unused items to storage and cover/date perishables.
• Assist in controlling food cost and waste per standards.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment.
• Be reliable and available to work regularly.
