Job summary

The Woodlands Resort is seeking a Kitchen/Line Cook to prepare high-quality menu items and support daily kitchen operations. You will follow recipe cards, manage prepped items, and ensure proper dating and storage of perishables in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery and handle up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards.
• Start food items that are prepared ahead of time and monitor for over/under production.
• Date and rotate perishables and ensure proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use and note shortages or out-of-stock items.
• Keep buffet stocked and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist in controlling food costs and waste according to standards.
