Job summary

Staypineapple is seeking a Line Cook (Cook II) to join our fast-paced, professional kitchen. The role requires preparing and presenting food items, accommodating guest requests, and maintaining quality across hot and cold line stations. Weekend breakfast shifts are required.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of kitchen experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Food Handlers Permit, with a strong emphasis on safety and sanitation in a lively hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handlers Permit required.
• Minimum one-year experience in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of production and operations for prepping and cooking.
• Ability to fulfill server and guest requests promptly.
• Weekend availability.
• Safety and sanitation procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all stations continually have the necessary supplies to prepare all food items.
• Properly and efficiently prepare and present all food items including accommodating special guest requests.
• Monitor quality, consistency and presentation of prepared food items.
• Set up and maintain hot and cold line stations within company practices.
• Demonstrate competency in basic and advanced food production methods.
