Job summary

Staypineapple is seeking a Line Cook (Cook II) to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will prepare food items for chefs to use in meal preparation and will be required to work Saturday and Sunday breakfast shifts.

Responsibilities include ensuring stations have supplies, preparing and presenting dishes, and maintaining quality and presentation throughout service. Weekend availability is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of production and operations for prepping and cooking.
• Proficient at fulfilling server and guest requests in a timely manner.
• Ability to interact with guests and team members in a polite and positive manner.
• Knowledge and application of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stations continually have supplies to prepare all food items.
• Properly and efficiently prepare and present all food items, including guest requests.
• Monitor quality, consistency and presentation of prepared dishes.
• Set up and maintain hot and cold line stations per company practices.
• Demonstrate competency in basic and advanced food production methods.
