Job summary

The Willows Inn, part of Soho House, is seeking a Line Cook I to keep the kitchen running smoothly, prep sauces, and support senior chefs during service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work across stations, maintain quality, follow safety guidelines, and participate in trainings. 3+ years of experience and a food handler certificate are preferred, with opportunities for growth within Soho House.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in fast-paced upscale kitchens.
• Strong knife handling and professional cooking skills.
• Proven ability to execute all menu items across stations.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food handler’s certificate.
• Strong communicator and team motivator.

Responsibilities

• Produce consistent, quality dishes on all stations.
• Prepare pantry, fry station, and other kitchen areas while respecting allergy requests.
• Assist with inventory to support sustainable food cost.
• Set up stations per Kitchen guidelines and maintain a clean, organized area.
• Monitor wastage and cooking temps to reduce costs.
• Execute production and a-la-carte dishes.
• Delegate tasks and ensure proper clock-in/out procedures.
