Job summary

The Willows Inn Palm Springs (Seasonal) seeks a Line Cook I to support a high-energy Soho House kitchen. You will prep, cook, and plate dishes across stations, assist senior Chefs, and maintain quality during busy services.

This role requires teamwork, reliability, and a strong understanding of professional kitchen standards. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of experience, a valid food handler certificate, and the ability to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a fast pace, upscale environment.
• Strong understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
• Ability to execute all menu items and deliver top quality dishes on all stations.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Food handler's certificate is required.
• Strong communicator and team player with professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Produce consistent, quality dishes across all stations in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare pantry, fry, and other kitchen items while honoring allergy requests and alterations.
• Assist with inventory to support sustainable food cost.
• Set up stations per guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Monitor wastage, temps, and quality to control costs.
• Execute production and a-la-carte dishes; support senior staff as needed.
• Attend trainings and mentor junior team members.
