Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Line Cook I to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and to assist Senior Chefs during service. You will prepare food and sauces, work across stations, and contribute to a calm, efficient service.

A successful Line Cook I thrives in a fast-paced setting, delivering high-quality dishes from prep to plate while aligning with Soho House standards and training new team members as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
• Strong understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in demanding environments.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Food handler’s certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items across all stations.
• Assist with pantry, fry station, and other kitchen areas while handling allergy requests.
• Assist with inventory to support sustainable food cost.
• Set up stations per Kitchen guidelines and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor temps and quality to control costs and maintain standards.
• Execute production and à-la-carte dishes, including weekend specials.
• Support senior chefs with pre- and post-service tasks.
