M Resort Spa Casino in Henderson, NV is seeking an enthusiastic kitchen team member to support culinary operations. You will assist chefs in preparing ingredients, cooking components for salads and entrees, and presenting dishes with flair.

The role requires 18+ age, a HS diploma or GED (culinary training preferred), and at least 2 years of experience in fine dining prep. Expect a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED; culinary school graduate or specialty training preferred
• 2 years of experience preparing specialty menu items and assisting Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Prepare fruits and vegetables for serving, washing, peeling, cutting, and refrigeration
• Grill, roast, steam, broil vegetables, cook pasta or components for salads
• Prepare cold meats and seafood, slice cold cuts, breading fish
• Prepare various menu items and garnish accordingly
• Prepare dressings following recipes
• Prepare toast, pancakes, hors d’oeuvres, hot and cold
• Dish up and garnish desserts (ice cream, sodas, pies, cakes, fruit cups)
• Conserve waste and maximize product utilization to lower food cost
• Operate small kitchen equipment (mixers, slicers, cutters)
• Provide courteous and friendly service to all staff
• Perform related duties as needed
