Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana in Bossier City is seeking a dedicated Line Cook I (Ridotto) to prepare dishes and support daily kitchen operations. You will work under the guidance of the lead cooks to ensure meals are cooked to spec and served timely.

The role requires attention to food safety, knife skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for long periods and lifting items as needed. Experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Culinary arts courses or the equivalent experience.
• One (1) – three (3) years’ experience as a line of restaurant cook.
• Exposure to alcohol and smoking environment; ability to work in such environment.
• Must secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or applicable regulatory entity.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of all food items and maintaining temperature.
• Season and garnish food.
• Prepare all soups and sauces.
• Keep the cooking area clean and in an orderly state.
• Maintain inventory and order food items daily.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Monitor performance relative to local competition as warranted.
• Other duties as assigned.
