Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana in Bossier City is seeking a Line Cook I for Ridotto to prep and cook menu items, ensure proper temperatures, and maintain station cleanliness.

You will season, garnish, and prepare soups and sauces while following safety and sanitation guidelines. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of line cook experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work in an alcohol and smoking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Culinary arts courses or equivalent experience.
• One (1) – three (3) years’ experience as a line of restaurant cook.
• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of all food items and maintaining the temperature of the items.
• Seasoning and garnishing food.
• Preparing all soups and sauces.
• Keeping the cooking area clean and in an orderly state.
• Maintaining inventory and ordering food items on a daily basis.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Monitor and adjust performance to local competition as warranted.
• Other duties as assigned.
