LaunchPad Golf, operated by Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, is seeking a skilled line cook to support high-volume service, prep, and events. You will follow recipes, prep ingredients, and work with the team to deliver quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of cooking experience or education combined.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes.
• Set up and stock workstations with essential ingredients and tools.
• Participate in daily prep work, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner during peak service hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for a smooth workflow and timely service.
• Monitor quality and portion sizes to maintain consistency and minimize waste.
• Follow sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean work environment.
• Maintain equipment and kitchen tools, reporting malfunctions to the head chef.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and shortages.
• Continuously learn new techniques and recipes to enhance culinary skills.
• Organizes cooler and storage area.
