Job summary

LaunchPad Golf, part of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, seeks a Lead Cook to craft memorable dishes for high-volume service and events. You will guide kitchen staff to ensure timely, accurate meals and uphold quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cooking experience in line, banquet/catering, or production kitchens.
• Ability to ensure quality, uniformity, and accuracy of food preparation.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation, quality control, recipe interpretation, and prep duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares more complex food items according to SOPs and sanitation guidelines.
• Assists with setup, prep work, and delivery of food products.
• Directs other cooks to ensure accurate and timely orders for the assigned station.
• Completes all prep sheets accurately and on time.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of kitchen equipment and workstation.
• Maintains cooler and storage areas in an organized and sanitary condition.
• Rotates food products to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Assigns prep work to Line Cooks and Culinary Apprentices.
• Performs tasks related to special events and functions.
