Job summary

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is seeking a Line Cook to prepare menu items using approved recipes and methods, while maintaining health code compliance and a positive team attitude. You will work under the Sous Chef and support the culinary team in delivering quality guest experiences.

The role requires basic knife skills and knowledge of food products; prior high-volume line cooking is preferred, with certification in food safety and related standards.

Qualifications

• No years of experience required; 1 year of high-volume line or production cooking preferred.
• Vocational/Technical/Business certification preferred.
• Adequate knife skills and knowledge of basic food products

Responsibilities

• Maintains workstation with consistent flavor, quality and appearance; respects production times.
• Knows basic food products and standard equipment; performs basic cooking methods.
• Follows FIFO; labels and dates all items and logs waste when needed.
• Reads tickets and communicates substitutions to team.
• Performs other duties to support department operations
