Job summary

Puttshack USA is seeking a dedicated Line Cook for our Scottsdale venue. You will prepare, plate, and garnish menu items, set up your station, and maintain sanitation to meet Executive Chef standards.

Our venues operate 7 days a week with flexible, variable schedules, typically between 15 and 30 hours weekly based on business needs. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, with opportunities for growth within a fun, hospitality-focused team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply
• Prior experience in high volume restaurant kitchen
• Experience operating, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen tools and appliances
• Must obtain any licenses or certifications per state and/or local requirements
• Ability to communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements safely and effectively
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game each and every day
• Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests needs
• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels
• Prepare, assemble, and plate menu items according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests
• Communicate food delays or issues to Culinary Leadership
• Read a thermometer and food tickets correctly and efficiently
• Accurately account for all items coming out of a station
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures, including MSDS
• Take direction and be a team player
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook
• Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties
