Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a Line Cook to join our Back of House team and help deliver outstanding hospitality through precise, timely prep and plating. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with focus on quality, consistency, and guest experience.

This role offers training, growth opportunities, and a path to culinary expertise within a supportive Firebirds culture. Applicants should be 18+ and able to stand, lift up to 35 pounds, and maintain kitchen safety standards.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items frequently weighing up to 35 pounds
• Ability to be patient and have a guest-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Properly label, store, and rotate all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
