Job summary

King's Fish House - Carlsbad is seeking a line cook for our kitchen team. The role focuses on preparation, timely execution of tickets, recipe adherence, and quality control to ensure memorable meals for guests.

You will receive training in station roles (Grill, Sauté, Pantry, Fry) and will be tested on recipes and service standards, with opening/closing duties and ongoing side-work responsibilities expecting your reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• 1 year experience as a restaurant cook.
• Food handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Prepare necessary food items for meal period and next service.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas.
• Cook for scheduled meal period.
• Follow supervisor’s instruction.
• Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities.
