Job summary

King's Fish House in Corona, CA is hiring line cooks. You will train in a line cook position (Grill, Sauté, Pantry, Fry) and be tested on recipes, procedures, and quality components to ensure consistency across all tickets.

The role focuses on preparation, plate presentation, and timeliness, with emphasis on teamwork, guest satisfaction, and standard operating procedures to deliver memorable meals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 1 year experience as a restaurant cook.
• High school graduate.
• Food handlers Card.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate verbal and written English with Guests, management and co-workers.
• Ability to maintain knowledge of cooking techniques and menu items.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Prepare necessary food items for meal period and next service.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas.
• Cook for scheduled meal period.
• Follow supervisor’s instruction.
• Alert Chef or Sous Chef to any deficiencies of food items.
• Notify management of shift activities.
