Job summary

Dave & Buster’s in Florence, KY is looking for a part-time Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prep and cook menu items according to recipes, maintain a clean and safe station, and help deliver fresh, timely meals to guests.

We require at least 6 months of line cook/prep cook experience and a Food Handlers Certification. Strong teamwork, communication, and the ability to work weekends and holidays are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience.
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)

Responsibilities

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards
• Helping minimize food waste by creating proper portions, staying vigilant for ticket errors, and communicating with expo
• Partnering with the service team to ensure food is accurate, delivered fresh and in a timely manner
• Adhering to all company and health department food safety procedures
• Properly and safely operating kitchen equipment
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned
