Job summary

Flanigan’s in Florida Town, NY is hiring motivated cooks to join our back-of-house team, delivering made-from-scratch dishes with high-energy service.

You will follow our safety policies, prep and plate items according to the recipe manual, rotate stock to par levels, and help keep stations clean and organized during shifts. English fluency and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Read recipes and food labels; read POS ticket orders.
• Speak, read and write English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety and sanitation policies and training.
• Prepares menu items according to Flanigan’s recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Rotates products and stocks to par level to avoid kitchen disruption.
• Assists with prep work and station setup.
• Transports items to and from the kitchen and assists with deliveries.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen area during shift.
• Breaks down and cleans all stations at closing.
