Job summary

King's Fish House in Henderson, NV is seeking an attentive line cook to prepare and plate high-quality seafood dishes with focus on consistency and timeliness. You will work across Grill, Sauté, Pantry, and Fry stations, following recipes and standards to deliver guest satisfaction.

Training will cover guest service standards, kitchen procedures, and safety practices. We emphasize a strong team environment, flexibility in hours, and opportunities for growth within our culinary family.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 1 year experience as a restaurant cook.
• Food handlers Card.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate verbal and written English with Guests, management and co-workers.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques required to prepare menu items.
• Knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, quantities and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Prepare necessary food items for meal period and next service.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas.
• Cook for scheduled meal period.
• Follow supervisor’s instruction.
• Alert Chef or Sous Chef to any deficiencies of food items.
• Notify management of pertinent shift information.
