Ellis Island Casino in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Line Cook to prepare dishes according to Kitchen Manager recipes and keep the kitchen running smoothly. It includes stock prep stations and assisting in daily operations with the kitchen team.

You will work with servers to ensure timely orders while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. Cross-training in prep cooking may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Requires basic knife skills.
• Friendly, enthusiastic team player.
• Must possess a Nevada Health Card.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Comprehension of English (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Stock and set up kitchen stations.
• Prepare food and plate items per guidance.
• Coordinate with servers for timely orders.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and area.
• Record fridge and line temperatures daily.
• Maintain hygiene standards and safety procedures.
• Cross-train in Prep Cooking as needed.
• Put away food orders as they arrive.
