Job summary

Osage Casino Tulsa is seeking a Food & Beverage team member to prepare hot and cold items according to recipes and safety policies, under supervision.

You will set up stations, read menus, adjust ovens, measure ingredients, cook a range of dishes, garnish plates, maintain sanitation, and work as part of a busy kitchen team. Must be able to stand long shifts, lift up to 20 pounds, and comply with drug screening and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of restaurant operations and food service principles.
• Ability to read menus and estimate food requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reads menus to estimate food requirements and may order from suppliers.
• Prepares soups, salads, pizzas, sandwiches, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles.
• Cooks, roasts, broils, and steams meats and vegetables; seasons during cooking.
• Pares, chops, and portions foods; plates with gravies and garnishes.
• Upholds food safety, sanitation, and health-code standards.
• Keeps kitchen clean and rotates stock daily; assists deli as needed.
• Communicates with supervisor and team to ensure smooth operations.
