Job summary

Osage Casino Pawhuska is seeking a qualified cook to support the kitchen under the supervision of the Sous Chef. Responsibilities include preparing hot and cold items, following recipes, and maintaining sanitation and stock levels.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of line or prep cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant, is able to pass a pre-employment screen, and can obtain a gaming license. Evening/weekend shifts and a strong teamwork attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of line or prep cook experience in high volume restaurant required.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and gaming license requirement.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items for service (chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces, and cooking menu items).
• Follows recipes, controls portions and presentation specifications.
• Maintain stocking levels for pantry, line and prep areas.
• Monitor ticket times and adjust oven temperatures as needed.
• Contributes to a team effort and completes related duties.
