Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Cook CD in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cooked foods and will need to perform all station functions, including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, and Pantry. The position requires at least 1 year of cooking experience in a high volume or fast casual dining environment.

In addition to cooking, the Cook CD must maintain food safety and sanitation standards, operate kitchen equipment, and provide excellent service to customers. This is a non-exempt position that usually reports to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of closely related cooking experience, preferably in high volume or fast casual dining.
• Requires food knowledge pertaining to Soups, Sauté, Broiler, Fry, and Pantry.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and equipment.
• Operate various kitchen equipment and follow food safety practices.
