Job summary

HMSHost Corporation is seeking a Cook CD – Standard to prepare cooked foods across multiple stations and communicate proactively with the team. The role emphasizes HACCP compliance, high-volume service, and delivering high-quality customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

The position is non-exempt and typically reports to Store Manager or General Manager, depending on local requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Requires a minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience; high-volume/fast casual preferred.
• Knowledge of soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry.
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions and policy documents.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cooked foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs.
• Communicate ticket times and potential issues to the manager on duty and servers.
• Maintain high quality service and food safety standards.
• Follows recipes and product directions; assists with inventory and supplies as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment.
