Job summary

Elevate Entertainment Group, Austin-based, creates boundary-pushing entertainment destinations including EVO Cinemas, EVO Entertainment, and Elevate Rewards. As a Line Cook you will prepare and cook menu items to meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation, contributing to an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensure proper temperatures and food safety, and collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate orders and maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; culinary training or certification is a plus.
• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is required.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure dishes are made to order and meet presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Ensure ingredients and supplies are readily available and properly stored.
• Monitor food quality and freshness and correct temperatures.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
• Communicate effectively with the team to manage kitchen workflow.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory checks and notify Kitchen Manager of low stock.
• Ensure storage areas are organized and properly stocked.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
