Job summary

Elevate Entertainment Group, based in Austin, seeks a Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items to meet high quality, taste, and presentation standards. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen with a team to coordinate orders and ensure timely service, while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and culinary training or equivalent experience, are 18+, and are available for holidays, nights, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Culinary training or certification is a plus.
• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is required.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all dishes are made to order and meet presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Ensure all ingredients and supplies are readily available and properly stored.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the correct temperature and meet the standards.
• Work closely with other kitchen cast members to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
• Communicate effectively with the team to manage kitchen workflow.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory checks and notify the Kitchen Manager of low stock levels.
• Ensure that food storage areas are organized and properly stocked.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
