Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar culinary role.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and passion for culinary arts.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Culinary school or related certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and follow recipes for consistent quality.
• Cooking: Execute grilling, sautéing, frying, roasting and plating items for service.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards for taste and presentation with checks at stages of prep.
• Timing: Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Follow health and safety standards for ingredients and equipment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock and notify shortages to kitchen manager.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with cooks and kitchen staff to support operations.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with kitchen policies and regulations.
