Job summary

Brittain Resorts & Hotels in Myrtle Beach is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to help prepare ingredients, cook dishes, and ensure presentation and quality. You will maintain a clean kitchen, monitor ingredient quality, and manage stock levels while supporting guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work mixed shifts between 10am and 11pm, with weekend availability.
• Demonstrated reliability, diligence, and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with kitchen staff.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling, trimming).
• Cook food using various utensils or grills.
• Monitor food during cooking and adjust as needed.
• Ensure dishes are well presented before serving.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment.
• Store food and other items properly and monitor stock levels.
• Check ingredient quality and freshness.
• Support kitchen operations during shortages and busy periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
